Tony Hawke – Geologist
Mr. Tony Hawke has over 30 years of professional experience in the field of environmental consulting (evaluation, characterization, monitoring, and environmental rehabilitation (ex-situ and in-situ) well as studies submitted under section IV.2.1 of la Loi sur la qualité de l’environnement.). He is actively involved in the field of the environment and geology. He was involved for many years in R&D for in-situ treatments and the understanding the migration of contaminants. Mr. Hawke holds the title of certified expert with the MDDELCC (expert number 202).
Mr. Hawke is managing projects of preliminary and extensive environmental characterization, environmental follow-up in various fields either at the legal level, business strategy or the technical and environmental complexity. He is responsible for major projects (in terms of total cost, technical complexity or length of contract) and has worked on many cases of problems of contamination of LNAPL, DNAPL groundwater contamination. In different projects involving contamination of ground water, he was able to offer innovative rehabilitation scenarios in order to allow these sites to restore a level of quality of soil and/or groundwater suitable for their purposes. This important part of innovation has its source in the high level of understanding of the hydrogeological conditions and behaviors physical and chemical contaminants.
