Objective:

Verify the environmental compliance of three properties on which the company operates based on the applicable legislation.

Scope of work:

Les Trempeurs Thermetco Ltée, a firm specialized in the thermal treatment of metals, commissioned Terrapex to perform an audit on the environmental compliance of three properties on which the company operates.

The environmental audit consisted of the following activities: a preliminary meeting to determine the exact parameters of the study, a detailed examination of the sites, interviews with key personnel, review of the company files, identification of applicable regulations and laws, compilation and analysis of obtained data and information, identification of non-compliance and issuing recommendations to correct the observed shortfalls and instances non-compliance.

The work was performed under very tight time constraints; while the audit was performed on the three different properties, the final report was issued less than 8 days following the awarding of the contract.
